Freedom is not Free {Part 1}

One subject our education system should be teaching is how freedom is not free and peace will not be attained or retained peaceably.
History would be a great venue for this; you see our Founding Fathers did not come by our freedom easily. Many fought and many died; many of the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence died in poverty on the run with their families.
Five signers were captured by the British as traitors and tortured before they died. Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned. Two lost their sons serving in the Revolutionary Army, another had two sons captured.
Nine fought and died from wounds or hardships of the Revolutionary War and never were able to see the success of the American Revolution.
Another 17 lost every penny they had and every piece of property they owned.
Our freedom came at a heavy price… a price I believe we are taking for granted. In the last year or so there have been so many violent acts; from Ferguson to Las Vegas and anti-Americans in their cowardly way all want to blame guns and the NRA.
If they truly want someone to blame – and they truly do – they should blame the founders; because the 2nd Amendment was the 2nd most important segment on their list of importance. No… it was not for hunting is was for each citizen to have the ability to protect themselves.
Truth is yes guns are dangerous; however they are even more dangerous to those who attempt to do harm… why else would they seek out gun free zones to do they damage.
In my next vlog I will let you know how letting the government protect our lives and homes would not be such a good idea.
